Prices range from $125. to $175.

Yarn and knitting kits

Some of my wool gets made into a lovely 2 ply worsted weight knitting yarn by Green Mountain Spinnery in Putney, VT. I have them make white, oatmeal, light gray and dark gray, some of which gets dyed. The yarn comes in 4 ounce skeins and each skein has approx. 230 yards per skein. The dyed yarns are $20 per skein, un-dyed are $18. I named my yarn Cheshire Sheep Yarn since I live in Cheshire County, NH.

I have written patterns for hats, mittens and socks and sell kits with the pattern and my yarns.

Romneys and roving and fleece! Oh My!

I have had a flock of Romney sheep since 1996. I fell in love with Romneys because they have GORGEOUS fleece for hand-spinning. It is long, lustrous and comes in a variety of colors, and it takes dye beautifully. Below are some pictures of my sheep and the roving they produce. I sell raw fleece, washed fleece, and roving for spinners and felters, both dyed and un-dyed.
